Klaas Jonkheid is an experienced consumer psychologist
and marketing strategist. He has extensive experience in
brand management (e.g. at Cadbury Schweppes),
advertising (head of research and strategy at FCB South
Africa), and marketing consulting and research. He
started The Consumer Psychology Lab in 2005 - a
company assisting clients with 'The Management of
Behaviour'. The company focuses on consumer and brand
research and strategy, as well as change management.
Klaas is a keen scholar. He has an Honours Degree in
Business Economics, a Masters Degree in Business
Management, and a Doctorate in Consumer Behaviour.
He has extensive experience in research (both qualitative and
quantitative), and is a member of the Society for Consumer
Psychology in the US. Klaas has been rewarded for his
innovation in research and presentation skills: He has for
example appeared twice at the South African Market Research
Association's (SAMRA) convention, the first year winning the
prize for the best qualitative research paper, the next year
winning the SAMRA trophy for the best overall paper. |
Klaas has
a keen interest in Psychoanalysis, and has presented many
papers on Archetypes, Brand Mythology and Symbolism. Klaas is
married to Liezel. In their spare time they indulge in bird
photography, collecting art, and travelling. Klaas is also a
proud owner of a Harley-Davidson!
